What is Lightning App Builder
The Lightning App Builder provides an easy to use graphical interface for creating custom Lightning Pages for Salesforce Lightning Experience and mobile app. Lightning Pages are built using Lightning components—compact, configurable, and reusable elements that you can drag and drop into regions of the page in the Lightning App Builder. The Lightning App Builder is also a one-stop shop for configuring Lightning apps.
You can access the Lightning App Builder by following the below steps,
1. Go to Setup and enter Lightning App Builder in the Quick Find box and then selecting Lightning App Builder.
2. Click New
3. Select anyone option from App Page, Home Page and Record Page ( We choose App Page)
4. Click Next
5. Enter the Label for the App and Click Next
6. Select the Standard from the list (We choose header and left sidebar)
7. Click Finish
8. You will see the screen like below and Drag components into region to customize your page
you can preview the page for
- Phone
- Tablet – Portrait
- Tablet – Landscape
- Desktop
9. Click Save
10. Activate the Page to make it visible to users
11. Proceed the Page settings,Lightning Experience and Mobile

Choose the activation is only for Admin or for all users
change the App icon if you want to change

12. Click Save.
13. Select the App from App Menu and Make use of it.
