Follow the below steps to customize home page layout.
Step 1 : Go to Setup
Step 2 : Enter Home in Quick Find box and Select Home Page Layouts
Step 3 : Give Layout Name
Step 4: Select Wide Components to Show from the list
Step 5 : Select Narrow Components to Show
Step 6 : Click Next
Step 7 : Order the Components
Step 8 : Click Preview and Save
