Autocomplete on Standard Addresses, this features is most helpful on the standard Salesforce fields to reduce the time of typing on the address fields. Users can enter text on standard address fields and see possible matching addresses in a pick list.
Autocomplete on standard address pick list results are optimized for these countries only :
- Australia
- Brazil
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- Japan
- Netherlands
- Russia
- Spain
- Sweden
- United Kingdom
- USA
In this blog we are going to see how to enable autocomplete on standard address fields in our Salesforce org. Please follow the steps to enable this feature.
Step-1 : Navigate ti the Setup and search for the Maps in quick find box and select the Maps and location under the Customize.
Step-2: Click on the edit then check the Enable autocomplete on standard address fields and Enable autocomplete on standard address fields (Lightning Experience and the mobile app only) check boxes.
Step-3: Finally save it. this feature will be enabled
Note : Auto completes on standard address fields is available for all versions of the Salesforce mobile app and Lightning Experience, but not for Experience Cloud sites.
