This is a wonderful feature in Salesforce. Sometimes we want the list of reports with the related dashboard. This is possible in reports using ‘Report type‘. Report type is beneficial to select the list of objects with fields in the reports.
Please refer Merfantz website (http://merfantz.com/blog/salesforce-report-overview/) for reports. In Salesforce used this feature.
For Example – We faced one requirement to delete report but it is showing ‘can’t delete a report because it’s being used in one or more dashboards‘, So in which situation we used the below report to found dashboards related reports.
Create Report Type:
Then, Create a new report for the above report type. You can achieve.
